The lotus is the traditional symbol in Buddhism and other cultures for the progress of the soul. The roots of the lotus are underwater in the mud, yet its flower rises up to bask in the sunlight. It is the image of rising from the murky depths to flower gloriously in the Light. This is the journey of the soul when on the path of spiritual transformation.

  This design is handcut from sterling silver sheet, and has a rough textured finish. It is approxiamately a 22mm oval. This necklace measures 18" on a sterling silver ball chain finished with lobster claw clasp.
